Just because something is "regular price" doesn't mean it's not a hot deal. I've seen plenty of "sales" that weren't. Besides, if you actually looked at the link before you criticized, they are throwing in a second controller for free, so in effect, you do save roughly $20, which in my book IS a hot deal. In fact, if you compare what it would cost you to buy an Xbox at the FYE sale price of $120 (that is IF you can find one in stock, my name happens to be on a waiting list at our local store) (besides that, you then have to deal with the rebate), plus buying Halo (another $30), then throw in the extra controller ($20 more), you're sitting right at the $170 that this deal is. And once again, no rebate hassle to deal with, and they even have free shipping if you want. I am personally shopping for an Xbox, and my only hesitation happens to be if I want my box to be that particular green color or not. Thanks for the heads-up Kenji4861!

No one on this forum in their right mind will pay 20$ for that pos controller, you can't give away those controller for free at Frys.
169.99 is the same price as it is anywhere, Ebgames, bestbuy etc.
Costco has it for 162.99 - that's warm.
Like i said, i think that controller is worth 0 dollars and 0 cents , so 7 dollars off at costco would be a better deal.

auto - Looks like the 2nd controller deal is dead (at least it's not showing up for me anymore), but if you live near a Target, I noticed in their flyer this weekend that they've got a similar deal - the Xbox Halo special edition, but they're throwing in one of the Platinum Hits games for free instead of the controller. Since I can't find it on their website, I assume it's only a B&M deal, but still a very good one.
