Do these expire if you don't activate them within a certain amount of time? Thinking about getting a couple, but I want to make sure I can still use it later on.
Heres the details, Just received my card, You can use 3 of them to extend your subscription upto 36 months and they have to be used by 6/30/2007. So yes you can buy upto 3 of them and use them now. Really is a good deal. And they are 13 month cards so I guess if you bought 3 you would lose out on the extra 3 months it would give you. So you would be more safe just buying 2.
Is the Live subscription good for both the original Xbox and the 360? If so, I saw some Xbox (original) live subscriptions on clearance at Target last weekend for $32. YMMV, of course.
I think you can use the original xbox live cards (the black and orange ones) to upgrade xbox 360 live..but not vice versa...pretty sure you couldnt use this item to extend your original xbox live subscription... not positive on that..
but I know for sure you can use the old cards on the xbox 360

the old cards work on 360, i never got on the old XBL since mine is modded, but i bought a $20 old style card (with pouch) at TRU and activated succesfully on the 360 account. so it is basically the same thing
go check your local TRU to see if they have any left, they should scan at the register at $20. i bought a few for myself and my friends.
Yea It would be a better offer I guess if you can get the old cards for $20. Of coarse your going to have to go check and see. And yes you can not use the 360 cards on the old XBOX as it states this on the back of the XBOX 360 card I received today.
