Radio Shack has the Xbox live kit for $14.95 on clerance. Saw it at FW btw. Doesnt come with the cool mug though

I don't know if they've lifted the restriction, but I'm pretty sure each iteration of these sets (every time they changed out the freebie game), the subscription card had a newer expiration date. Since MechAssault is rather old, I'm sure you'll get an expired card. The question is, will Microsoft accept it? Buyer beware.

there is no expiration on the 3 month or 12 month cards only the 2 month free trial cards have expiration

Too bad I missed this one. I already bought the 3 month Live kit and have renewed my subscription, but I wouldn't mind paying $29 for an extra headset, 12 months of Live (which usually costs $49.99) and Mech Assault.

I believe the $15 Xbox Live Kit on sale at radio shack is for the 3-month kit, since the FW thread states "26-694 XBOX live kit was 49.99 now 14.97," and the 12-month kit is usually around $69-89 while the 3-month kit is usually $39-49

Received my order today! Great Service ... I had forgotten to add the heat n plug mug to my order .... emailed customer service ... they added it no problem. I think it is a 1-man shop but they had great service and fast delivery so no complaints!
