Nintendo may make the most of what they've got, but it's hard to ignore how fast mobile development moves ahead. It probably doesn't help when you've got companies like Apple putting out new SoCs every year.
To me, games are way more important than hardware. No mobile games come close to anything on Switch, simply due to control scheme and having to use touch controls.
Speaking of hardware, getting up the XSX was not really fun.
First I had to download an update for the console.
Then it rebooted and updated my controller.
Then I put in Gears 5 and it had to install.
Then while it was installing it said I needed to download an 80gb patch to play the XSX enhanced version.
I started all of this last night at 10pm hoping to just try out Gears 5.
Well it's still downloading the update right now and it's nearly noon, 14 hours later.
Thankfully I got a bit sucked into Demon's Souls last night and this morning and just played that instead.
