Blockbuster is running a national sale on the XBox memory card. It regularly sells for $24.99, but it's marked down to $4.99. The card is useful to do the Mechassault/007 Hack for Linux or replacing the dash. This is a great deal if you're looking for a new memory card.

heres some more info: its a mad katz one for $4.99 down from $24.99, they didnt have the MS brand one, so i dont know about the pricing on that. the way i see it, since its not a controller, i dont have to worry about mad katz. i really hate their controllers (especially cubicon for the GC) but i dont see how they can mess up a memory card

keep in mind, you still need a way to get the hacked save to the memory card, either by finding a friend with a modded box, using an action replay, or modding your controller cable with a USB connector.

then get 007:auf (14.99 at ebgames), and load up the audio exploit

i have a xbox-> usb converter thing, hopefully i can get it done with that, ive been itchin to try some of those things, but i didnt wanna mod my box for fear of losing live!, but i dont really go online with the box anymore.

I've been to about 5 different blockbusters around my area.. none of them have any xbox memory cards..

Maybe it's a closeout thing. I went to a blockbuster in my area and they didn't have any I asked at the counter and they didn't know of any sale of any kind on them. IThe guy also said that sales are regional because we usually don't get them. I couldn't get on xboxhacker.net to look around, possibly they are down. I checked on xboxhacker.com but didn't fin anything about it on that site.
