it says the Non core system has a "Premium Chrome finish" maybe thats the only difference? but for $450 it better come with that!

this was actully a pretty hot deal how ever the 35.00 in tax annoys me. but any way becuase it came with two wireless controllers and the play and charge kit..didnt order a game the only game i want is pgr3 right now. as the reviews say its about the only game worth playing.

Man, I must really be out of the loop here. I had no idea this thing was going to sell for $450. I hope this doesn't set the bar for future gaming consoles. It's taken so long to get them down to a reasonable price now.

That's what sucks about Microsoft's retarded marketing scheme with the 360-there should only be one system, but if there are going to be 2 at least call them something different so people can differentiate (everyone says premium because it's easier than saying "I'm getting an XBOX 360" and then having someone ask you if you mean the one with the hard drive).

I guess it depends on how you look at it. I think if it were true choice (i.e. options on a car) then it would be one thing, but Microsoft knows full well that most people will want the full $400 model, they've said themselves they're not producing nearly as many of the core systems. The only reason they split it was so they could say that technically they launched the 360 at $299.
