If that's the same board as the one I am posting from, it should because I am running an L5639. The board I have was reviewed here by Anandtech This is the one I own and am posting from.
Yes, this motherboard. I'm don't know what's BIOS is here, all BIOS support this CPU or I maybe must update it? I haven't much money now, what minimal memory i can buy for it? Single-channel possible?

Ask the vendor if it will come with the latest bios. I'm not sure if earlier Asrock bios' support it. EVGA did a board revision on the 760-A1 from v1.0 to v1.1 then their bios update supported it but it was the board revision that made it work.

1 stick of DDR3 will work. Buy 1.5v advertised DDR3

Never mind about board revisions. I was talking EVGA board revisions. You are buying an Asrock.

Do you currently have a 1366 socket CPU?

Hehe Have you received your X5660? I'm debating on that or the X5650. The hang up is the multi with Turbo Disabled. I'm curious as to the max allowed on all 6 cores.

I've been running the X5650 since Tuesday and the max multi with Turbo off is 22. I've got mine dialed in so far so that I can boot and hit BIOS quick to lock it in to x22 or leave it with Turbo on and let SpeedStep ramp it up and down between x12 and x23 (two profiles saved in BIOS to select from). I was running my old 920 at 21x190 (3990) and this chip kicks the crap out of it where the cores matter.

Well worth the upgrade to me.

Sweet man. Do you know if that's all 6 cores at the 22x multi?

Yes, it's all six cores at 22x when Turbo and SpeedStep are turned off. When I was running my 920 I was able to lock it in at 21x (normal is 20x, like the X5650) the same way. The Xeon allows up to 22x without Turbo but if you want Turbo and 23x you have to enable SpeedStep/Turbo.

:hmm: I'm one step closer to buying an X5650! Yaay! Haha, thanks

After reading this burpo I decided to double check the TjMax and interestingly enough there is a 5 degree difference.

Yeah, the Gulftown I7 970 is binned better for sure (higher multi), but also requires 35 more watts to do it's magic, and of course has a higher Tj.Max. The X5650 is a poor man's alternative that's binned better than the previous alternative L5639. I need 12 threads for what I do, and for the difference between what I sell my L5639 for, and what I paid for this chip, it's a very inexpensive upgrade.
I found the sweet spot for my setup to be at 203 BCLK. I can keep my voltage offset to .30 and temps under load are acceptable. 12 threads working at 4,466Mhz gets the job done, and as seen below scores higher than previous settings with higher BCLK..

I could push it harder with better cooling, but that's a 24X7 stable setup & I'm happy with it

Someone can say, how change price in future? Will have money only in 1st march. Worry about price increasing.
ASRock X58 Extreme
X5650
Single Hynix DDR3 PC3-10600 2 Гб (HMT125U6BFR8C-H9) and any cheap 1366 cooler.
It's good?

Agreed for the price its an excellent upgrade. And had I have been looking to move up from quad you can't really beats these xeons.

i'm still curious why are your cpu z clock speeds much higher what cinibench is showing?

it is because of turbo?

Cinebench reads the HFM Max from the chip at 20, but you can watch CPU-Z while it's working and it shows 22X. My Asus board allows that & I leave everything on and set multi at 22. It still drops to 12X at idle, but when it goes to work, 22 is locked and will hit 23 for single thread loads..

So to confirm again, it will lock all 6 cores at a 22x multi?

Yeap, no problem, but why make it idle at 22 when speedstep does it's job and still runs at 22 when working Look at the difference in Cinebench compared to the L5639.

"Enhanced Intel® SpeedStep® Technology has revolutionized thermal and power management by giving
application software greater control over the processor’s operating frequency and input voltage. Systems
can easily manage power consumption dynamically."

Saves electricity when idling at 12X, and steps it up to 23 on single thread loads. Chip's a work horse, and not bad for gaming either..

Well I got one on the way, also. 135$ from eBay

EDIT: The L5639 was nice but with the same BCLK @ 22x I will be a full 1GHz faster than I am now
