Doubt this thread will die within 5 years People can probably make cheap workstations in the future. Unless Intel steps it up.
The x5675 does sound like the sweetspot atm. Both for temperature and rig status(stock 3ghz sounds better then 2,9ghz ). But i think i read something about multiplier difference from 5670 and 5680/90
Think im willing to risk the chance of compatibility with the board. I can also figure out how to update it later. Found a link in here somewhere yesterday. Massive thread :O

He got it stable at 4,7ghz. Knowing that i dont see any reason for settling with 5650/60, so that leaves the options with
*5670, confirmed
*5675
*5680
*5690
Kinda wanna eliminate 5680/90 aswell as it seems 4ghz+ works on the colder cpu's.
As 5670 works good with the board, its fairly big chance that 5675 works good too right?
