I've been looking for an in stock 6800 gt for a while now, but i know squat about XFX, and I'm hesitant to jump at this deal for that reason, plus I can wait another 2-3 weeks before I need the card (heading back to school)
Does the XFX card compare to the BFG card? (which is the one I'm hoping to get) I would be comfortable doing the overclocking myself if I got something that wasn't the BFG.

I bet it'll be out of stock by the time I check for any responses later tonight... oh well, then my decision will be real easy

Bleargh.. wish I had the cash.. Pretty bad when $400+ is considered a hot buy lol.. I hope the prices do drop in the next few months though (like the $330-$360 range) some people were able to get in on

the latest status for my order on their website says "order sent to warehouse"... I am hoping this means that either it ships today or monday. here is hoping for one.. man I cant believe I paid $440 with shipping and tax for this thing... I am so desperate and impatient... arrggh....

woohoo.. it says order shipped via FEDEX and has a tracking number.... cant wait to have it on monday and pick up Doom 3 at the same time!

I'm sure it will. I think all these low-priced cancelled orders and such were to see how many people were looking to buy and at what prices they were willing to pay. Since people here are willing to pay retail and think it's hot confused the prices probably won't go down for at least a couple of months. Just my guess.

Fedex Just delivered the package.... very nice... super fast shipping ordered friday got delivered today.

now I am waiting on my case to get delivered tomorrow so I can install this bad boy in it.
