I bought it at $315 also. I did e-mail Newegg to see if they will adjust, but if they don't, its only $6 and I am sure that I will be happy with it. The longer I waited then there was the risk of not having the recipt dated prior to 11/30 so for me its worth it. Mine is already on its way with my new PSU. Can't wait to install this weekend.

I'm bumping this again because it's such a great deal. The XFX 7800GT is the best buy in video cards today bar none. Check out the overclock in my signature. That's right, you can overclock this baby way past GTX levels.

The bundle that comes with this card is just icing on the proverbial cake--Call of Duty 2, FarCry and X2 The Threat (plus some motorcycle racing game I gave to my kid). I'm now going to have two of each so I guess I'll sell them on E-bay.

If you're thinking of buying yourself a present for the holidays, this is it.

I just ordered one myself last night. Here are my questions:

Do you use stock fan?
What is your 3dmark05 core with o/c?

Cooling is completely stock. I've got a modified Lian Li case so I've probably got better airflow than most, but the difference shouldn't be much. I should also point out that the XFX 7800GT is overclocked out of the box at 450MHz/1050MHz. You get that overclock backed with XFX's double lifetime warranty. There's just even more headroom built in to this card if you feel like pushing it.

My 3DMark05 Score with one XFX GeForce 7800 GT is 8022. Of course, your mileage may vary.

Edited to note that my 3DMark was with the old 81.94 drivers. The new Forceware 81.95 drivers are supposed to be even faster. I'll run it again tonight and let you know how I do.

It was listed at $309 shipped 3 Day UPS. I'm in for one @ $320 shipped 2 day FedEx and rushed (I'm impatient and want it for the weekend). Pretty good deal. I've got COD2 and Far Cry already so I'll be selling them and my BFG 6800GT.

Ahh, had I not already placed my order I would've gone ZZF also. I paid $11 extra for my 2 day UPS shipping. Doh! Still a great deal though.

I had this (sort of bad) experience before with ZZF and that's why I ordered from the Egg whenever possible. I ordered mine last night from the Egg and I already got a tracking number today just now. I guess you paid a little extra for faster service

Like most rebates (if not all) it's based on purchase date not ship date. And you have until December 30th to post mark this rebate, so no worries on that end either.

EDIT: re-read your post, it would be pretty sleazy for anyone to put a later purchase date on the invoice to cause expired rebates. I've never seen it happen, but that doesn't mean it never has. I trust ZZF.
