So im sure that this mobo cant even handle 250 HTT. Tell me what i did wrong then

I dont have any viruses or spyware either.

just by looking at how you start out on ocing, i'm pretty confident to say that you're not really familiar with ocing at all

Do i need .NET 1.1? I don't even know what that is but i hear ATI needs it for catylist cc? I don't intend to oc this card. It already runs hots and loud as it is. I also heard that the card's fan spins at only 30% so that the gpu runs hot. Is it recommended that i get ati tool and set fan to 100%?

You don't NEED .NET. Just install the standalone driver and then install ATI Tray Tools...you don't need CCC then with Tray Tools installed.

Thanks for the pointers on the ati drivers.

Well at least i know that my mobo cannot handle 250htt. I wont bother ocing because opening up the case and reseting the cmos after a botched attemp is aggravating. Having the set the memory timings back to normal etc. its too much work

its a value sli board that is pretty obscure. I think you are thinking about the MSI K8N SLI platinum or diamond although the only diff between those and mine is the extra lan port, firewire, and creative onboard sound

DFI makes the best ocing mobo capable of going 300+HTT
