Unfortunately, I grew up and he did not. 20 years later, he is just a slimeball perv that doesn't do anything except objectify women as sex objects. perhaps that is why so few subs were gained when he actually made the switch.

12 Easy Steps To Choose Between Sirius And XM Radio

LOL, they charged an extra dollar a month for O&A and only 35,000 people signed up for it .

Sirius has a better variety of music, while XM likes to pound that repetitive top 40 crap.

And that couldn't possibly have anything to do with their absence from the airwaves for 2 years following the St Pats thing as opposed to Stern's 18 month long commercial for Sirius? You really can't compare the 2 situations as they are vastly different.

I've had XM since 2003. I like the service, have never had any problems with it, and overall, think it is a good service. What is really funny is that the people that try to tout Sirius use Stern as their one and only argument. Stern sucks--when I was abbout 15, I thought he was funny. the kielbasa queen...stuff like that was edgy and hilarious. Will Oprah, who recently signed with XM, ever have a similar percentage? Very doubtful.

Stern>God
I've edited my posts above. I'm done arguing, it seems like we get one of these threads every week, and it's always the same cast of Stern lovers vs. me.
I'm just done arguing, I prefer O&A, everyone on ATOT prefers Stern. They are fvcking radio shows, that's it.

It'll be interesting to see what kind of ratings they attract now that they're back on CBS and in syndication. Presumably they'll do well now that they have no real competition, but we shall see. Some of the east-coast markets have been very loyal to Stern, but I have to imagine people will at least give O&A a chance. Personally I love Stern and have never found O&A even remotely entertaining, but to each his own.

FIXED!
XM has the most commercial-free music. they also have something like 5 country stations, they have numerous talk stations, and several hip-hop/rap/urban stations.
Cool thanks

Why do people say "Sirius has NFL, /thread"
Who listens to NFL games on the radio? Almost all the NFL games are on sunday at the same times every week, and I would wager that 99% of the people out there sit in front of their TV and watch it or go to the stadium. It's not like baseball where there are games every day at all different times. It makes sense to listen to baseball on the radio, but the NFL adds nothing to sirius.
From what I have heard (I have XM, not sirius) Sirius has better music. I cant stand any of the music stations on XM. They all go too "deep" into stuff that I dont know and dont care about. I wish they had at least one channel that was more popular stuff and a wider selection. I have heard Zeppelin on XM only once or twice for example even though they are huge. I have heard the same obscure Foreigner song 3 days in a row.
But for talk, O&A > Stern. I pretty much just listen to O&A on XM since like I said, the music stinks.
