Amazon has the neat little Cooler Master XORNET mouse for sale for $21.14 - $10 rebate = $11.14. Free shipping if your order is over $25.

UPDATE: Slight price change. It's now $23.61 - $10 rebate = $13.61. Still a good deal.

NEW UPDATE: Amazon has Sold Out of them. It's now saying it ships in 3-5 weeks when ordered from Amazon. Product page now defaults to some 3rd party vendor.

Claw style, 5 button, optical, 500,1000,2000 dpi function buttons, scroll wheel, rubberized sides for gripping, omron micro switches.

I changed to one of these over a year ago and I love it! It's been great from desktop to hardcore FPS gaming. There's multiple firmwares available to suit your lift off taste, angle snapping. I use v55.

Looks interesting...

How do you like the "claw design"? I don't think I've ever used a mouse with it, so I'm a little leery about getting one.

I bought one a while back as a backup. It's not bad. Fits in your hand comfortably.

A lot of people use the claw style, but just don't realize it. It mostly just means you don't rest your palm on the mouse. Instead, you use your finger tips to move the mouse. This is great for fine control and most especially useful when playing at high DPI. In that case your wrist usually rest on the mouse pad in one position and you *only* use your fingers to move the mouse. Me though... I use a bit of a high bred style, I guess. I play at low DPI and often I'm moving the mouse around the pad with my whole arm... Still in claw position, but my wrist is either floating in the air or dragging on the pad and I'm moving my whole arm to move the mouse. Then when I require more control, I just drop my wrist on to the pad in one position and only use my fingers to move the mouse.

I guess it's something you just have to get use to. Anytime someone gets a new mouse, it always feels a little weird, even if it's the same general style as their old one. But after you use it for a month, it becomes second nature.
