I've had to return a case front that was broken, posted in thier forums and called them, they sent a new one out very fast w/o questions. Everyone has bad experiences with companies, but it seems like ur holding on to urs to the death 0_0

i've purchased from them MANY times before, and have had no problems. however, i don't agree with the way they treated livan. just because you've had good experiences with them doesn't mean they have good customer service. i have personally never had to return or exchange anything, so that may be the reason i've had good experiences. the fact is, with the way they treated livan (and laughed at the fact that people will see his posts) is enough to have me never purchase from them again. ya, some decent deals on mostly stuff you don't need, but pay an extra buck or two more (actually comes out to about the same on most things at newegg, their shipping kills most of their deals) and have a company that actually cares about the customer.

just my 2c.

as for people saying that this doesn't belong on this thread, it pertains to the hotness of the deal. most people don't seem to mind threadcrapping all over tigerdirect rebate deals. due to those threadcraps, i have not purchased from tigerdirect, and have subsequently not put myself in a position to get burned.

Okay, maybe it's the hydrocodeine I've been taking for the pain from getting my wisdom teeth removed a couple of days back, but I'm confused...

There's this thing called the Better Business Bureau... LIVAN, you should contact them and let them know of your situation. You may never get your money back, but if you just sit back and whine, then that's not gonna get you anywhere. I know I've had good experiences with them, as well as a few of my friends (although I do admit their shipping costs suck unless you get the free shipping deals they sometimes offer), and I know of some people who have had bad experiences. Contacting the BBB can really open a company's eyes to just how serious you are about what they have done wrong. In fact, you should even think about taking them to court if you have had that bad of a problem from them basically stealing money from you. Good luck spreading your word, but as far as I'm concerned, they have done no wrong to me or anyone around me that has dealt with them, so I will continue to make purchases through them when the situation requires until that dark day comes (which I don't see happening anytime soon... hopefully ).

Good luck again, but please, we've heard your complaining, so stop adding post after post after post of the same basic crap. (like I am doing right now to get you to stop... I believe this is #3 for me)


PS: Dav373, thank you very much for posting this. I appreciate you doing so because I haven't remembered to check their site for a month or so, and they seem to have some new things. Great job!

Already done. You don't have to tell me to stop. I will when they refund. But you may not care but others may want to know before they buy broken stuff from them and have problems returning it. I am having a conversation with fellow anandtechers, this is where I learned about Tiger Direct. I see nothing wrong with letting people know about what they did in this case. But like Jason said, he doesn't care about me posting in the forums, so thre is no harm done here.

heck I am bumping their hot deals thread for them!

Livan, man, you had me laughing after I read that 5th review... it almost reads like something you'd see on their ordering page: "The Xoxide shopping experience is the quintessence of a model online retailer. Their orders are processed accurately with in hours, not days, and you can expect that your product will be shipped promptly."

Yes, I don't think that's from a legit customer.

Please don't take offense to what I said, I'm simply just saying that what you said the first couple of posts here is basically the same thing you've said for the last couple, and I feel you've gotten your point accross (notice how my posts changed over time?). That's why I'm asking to stop, but no worries, this is the last post directed to you.

Edit: Yeah and that 5th review was kinda funny... they should just delete scripted stuff like that.

i think the items are still a bit too expensive for my taste, but considering its xoxide, i would have to say two thumbs up

Sorry if I am disturbing ya. But I think overall I am doing some good by getting the word out about my experience. People who buy from them and didn'thave to RMA or cancel may have a different experience but this is my experience currently. People need to know. Thanks.

Also, as the head of the Xoxide Rewards program, I would like to say that we do not offer X-Points for good ratings only. The way you earn points is to leave a review of us on ResellerRatings, no where does it say that you must leave a good review of us. I know that I have given many points away for negative ResellerRatings reviews.

And the idea that we write our own reviews for ResellerRatings is ridiculous. Not only is that not legal, but I don't even beleive that it is possible because ResellerRatings removes reviews that they feel were left by the company for themselves.

Yes I have seen his thread. But he chose to post the apology to the masses first before he addresses me first. I think that is a bit dis-ingenous. I still have not heard anything for the way I was treated or my full refund. Until then, all this is useless because nothing has changed.

The reason that I asked Livan to contact me in my previous post instead of emailing him is simple. I was at home and did not have access to our Customer Emails and without his name it was difficult for me to find his contact information.

I have since driven up to the office and given Livan a full refund and sent him an e-mail. As I explained to Livan I will be spending the next few hours browsing through Jasons email account. Any customer that was treated in a similar way as Livan will be receiving an apology letter (Email and Hard Copy) from Jason on Monday morning.

As for those that are saying it shouldn't take posting on a public forum to get a problem solved. This is why I made my personal contact information available. This way if there is ever a problem everyone knows how to reach me directly, and I can be sure you are taken care of.

Again I would like to personally apologize to Livan and to any customer who was treated harshly when trying to get assistance from Jason. I can ensure you these problems will NOT continue.

If anyone has had problems with our customer service or simply has some suggestions please feel free to contact me directly.

I got an email from Steve. He sounds very genuine. If all the guys working there are like him, this would have never happened.

It sounds like he is making it right finally.

Again, I don't want anyone to lose their job over this but I gave Jason about 3 weeks to make this right but he chose to attack me in his emails over and over. I just had no choice but to go public.

But hopefully we can bring an end to this. Good luck in the future.

You aren't disturbing me and I'm glad to see that because of what you are doing, your problem has caught the eyes of the ones it needed to. I do stand corrected. Good job and hopefully everything gets sorted out ASAP for you!

BTW: I believe I've delt with Steve before and he was awesome, but it was awhile back and this pain medication from my surgery still has me a little out of it, so I can't remember lol

I've dealt with xoxide and have never had a single problem with them. Keep in mind that there are always two sides to the story when someone is "cheated" by a reseller.

There aint two sides here pal. Jason wasted my time for 3 weeks. Now Steve made things right finally and I commend him for that. But don't tell me there are two sides here.

As you can see, i placed an order saturday and i have yet to get any emails besides the confirmation one i got right after ordering. I would call but i'd hate to wait on hold for 3 hours on their non-toll free number. And emailing is probably useless too. If my order doesnt get here this week, this will be my last dealings with Xoxide.store.yahoo.com!.
