I had a similar thing happen last year with Xoxide, where I made an order, did express shipping, etc.
I asked for a tracking number, and never got it. On the third day, I e-mailed that I needed a tracking number, and that i could not call there due to the phones being routed incorrectly (to Anacostia Sherriff's Department), and that I needed someone to tell me SOMETHING about the order, or I would be forced to take stronger action. It wasn't rude, and I wasn't asking for the world.
What I got back was a nonsensical tirade from Gin Yum. She was absolutely infuriated at me in her e-mail, and then telephoned me to tell me that A) I was an idiot, B) I should e-mail customer service correctly (which I had), C) to telephone them when there was a problem (which I had --- however when I dialed the number it wasn't going to Xoxide), D) that with all the people dying the world, I'm worried about my order [Yeah, really!], E) That I'm being impossible to deal with. She never even allowed me to respond to anything --- she simply called me up going off on me, half of which didn't even make sense, and before I could respond, she hung up on me.
I still, to this day, cannot figure out how I was being "impossible." I'm always applauded for my Customer Service skills and professionalism.
I eventually got my order, although two weeks later. Never an explanation of why, and never any refund on the shipping. Oh, I tried, but the guy on the telephone just kept hanging up on me ("hold" [CLICK]). Eventually I gave up.
Xoxide's customer service was usually great, but between Gin & Jay, thpft ... I hope they're both fired.
Take care,
Mark
