I own a pair, they sound good. For the surround sound, it mostly sounds like things are to the side rather then to the rear. You get used to it...

I got them from directron for $47, now they are 56.99...

I don't think I would agree with him on the channel separation, when playing a FPS with surround sound going, it's very hard to tell when things are behind you. This could just be me, not every one's ears are a like...

I bought 20 thermalake Dragon 1 Northbridge heatsinks when they were $1 there on xhour. They are usually $7-9 everywhere.

If you missed this, you might want to check out the same headphones over at NewEgg. I checked there (to compare prices last night), and their shipped price is only like 2 or 3 bucks higher than Xoxide's would've been for the sale price special.

Keep in mind when buying headphones, just because a set of cans only has "2 channels" does not mean it will not provide very very good 3d positioning.

Are these the ones which have the subject as hi or hello and have attachments? Those are extremely annoying...
I got like 6 of those already.
Edit: Yep, I believe that is the virus, because the attachments have .pif and .zip

These are rather heavy, but I've still worn them for hours and hours at a lan party... The only time I really notice that they bother me is when I take them off...

Yes they aren't the greatest sounding speakers in the world, I have a nice pair of expensive sony studio monitor, and koss KSC35 headphones that sound many times better. You don't get as good (TRUE) 3d position with them, as you do with these zalmans...

wow, these are awesome. after a bit of hardware issues (my sb audigy decides it doesn't want to do 5.1 unless I download their player suite), I swapped my santa cruz from my other computer, installed drivers, and had to enable "Virtual 5.1" for the center channel to kick in. but they sound awesome. Wish I would've bought 2.
