You might be able to get it to work with wine. I have never had luck with wine though, the extent of my successes was running notepad. Smarter people get further though

thats a hard one... umm. maybe if you check out winex, they specialize in making windows games run in linux.... $5 dollars a month (min $15) charge since they aren't opensource, because many companies they deal with insist on closed source to protect there products... Which is the real reason many companies won't port games to linux. They don't know how and it's against the grain to realese the code to opensource developers.... that and the damand isn't that high, because most people would rather dual boot, then deal with it.. (not that I blame them or anything)

I doubt though they have a port for the flightsim game, though, but it's worth a shot...

There is also a open source flight sim called flightgear, It is probably not quite up to MS flight simulator snuff, but it'll provide realistic flight.

BS. XP did not just decide one day to reactivate, it does not do this. Some hardware changed or something corrupted either the file system or registry which reverted the machine to unactivated state.

My computer just did the same thing I swear on a stack of bibles, it gives you three days.

First Word crashed when entering an equation then on reboot it says you must reactivate windows your hardware has changed substantially. FRICKING A. I think I will just install 2k again darnit, but my 2k aint legit, and my XP is, I feel all rosy inside buying the software then it doesn't work great.

Well I just got done reformating my HD, and got WinXP back on it, I will activate another time, but now I get 30 days lol. That makes all kinds of sense doesn't it. 3 days if it changes, 30 if you do nothing.

I am such a hardware whore, I always wait the full 30 days. I never know when I am going to blow up a newborn install, and have to reformat and start over. I'd hate to waste an activiation.
I was able to BSOD xp pro with hardware testing, so I learned my lesson there

In my install of XP Pro this week, I activated it at least 3 or 4 times as I had to reformat and re-install. Is my OS going to be in trouble??!!

you get three in a 6 month period, then you get to call in. Not a big deal, but follow my advice. Tweak on it for 20 days or so, do what you will to it, then activate. It just makes sense, if you are going to horse around with it.

I have reinstalled windows xp so many times on this computer only once I had to call in the CS to ask for a activation code thing. And that was a breeze also, I think it would be fine seeing that you bought the software *should still have the reciept* and as you still have that you should be okay. The only big thing that will maybe trigger them to think that you either got a pirated or gave out your key is when you have two computers activated and have a totally different product id *it is based on your hardware etc* which doesn't even have your parts. I noticed that I had to reactivate when I installed my new mobo. Other than that it never asked.
