The network I am currently working on consist of the following:

1 SBC DSL Connection
1 Laserjet Printer
1 Linksys WRT54G Router
4 Wired Dell PC's running XP Pro SP2
1 Wireless Dell PC running XP Pro SP2
3+ Wireless notebooks that people come and go with.

My problem:
1. The printer that we use is open to anyone to print anything at anytime they wish. I would like to change that. I would like to limit printing to only a select few who knew a certain password. How would I do this?

2. People are constantly saving their crap under my documents, etc. We would like to keep the PC's as clean as possible. Is there a built in feature that would disallow people from saving ANYTHING? (Sort of like deep freeze) If not, what are some good programs that you might know about other than deep freeze?

Thank you for all your help people.

You need a server, sounds like your in a work group. Group Policy easily takes care of your problems. I don't understand your issue with folks saving stuff under my documents, that is where they are suppose to save stuff.

Yup, sounds like you need a server!

Once you have added the printer and enabled sharing on it, use its security set to manage who prints and who doesn't.
If you want to keep the pc clean you need to provide a place for the employee's to save their work. Another option once you have a server is to do what Classy said and use GPO to lock down the machines.
