Alright, we had a pretty bad ice storm in my area and I left my computer on as always. Well wouldn't you know, the power kicked off, and since then, I've been having insane problems with my computer. Internet Explorer hangs all the time, especially if it ever has to open a second window. If I try to use the Windows Key - E, it just searches the computer with the flashlight and does that for quite a while. Also if I download and try to use the top box to select a drive or directory to save too, it also hangs.
Could my XP install have been corrupted? Any suggestions?
And please don't ream me about not having a UPS. I have been waiting for one to go on sale in my area.
BTW - My system is Windows XP, Athlon XP 1700, SiS 735, GeForce3 ti200, 512mb Ram, 60gb HD.
Thanks
