XP overclocking made EASY!!

Well We are now entering Phase 2 of the process things have changed a little!
The whole process of this is to make the chip so that its NOT destroyed and able to be sent back for ANY warranty that applies!
If you fill the pits with super glue thenANY warranty (retail OR OEM) is voided!
I will be posting results of Phase 2 and Phase 3 come Sunday night!

its' not htat hard to unlock an xp w/o voiding the warranty. Just use circuitworks pen nonconductive stuff that u use to cover traces to fill the pits. the use loctite..both can come of pretty easily w/acetone.

but 10 bux should be ok.

If I unlock my chip and overclock it, and I fry it, then it is my F-UP and therefore should come out of my pocket not the manufacturer or the reseller. Those that try to get free replacements for THEIR screw ups just drive prices up for us all.

Seen an article on AMD CPU's!

The average cost of a CPU for INTEL OR AMD was $6.00 out the door!
The way I fugure it, I'm glad I don't have to pay that much of a PRICE HIKE for Hamburger in the Grocery!

1 lb of hamburger would cost you roughly $62.00

NOW WHO is driving the prices? Look at the Damn Oil Co. and then ask again!

Uh-huh.

RAW MATERIALs cost that much. I'll give you $6.00 worth of silicon and ceramic and metal for the pins. Is that the same as a processor?

Factor into it Research and Development, Fab costs, wages, overheads.

$6.00 for a processor....*snort*....what a stupid idea.

use a crayon, and use rear window defroster repair kit. comes right off if you want to remove it.

cheap...simple...effective.

But it is dangerous and costly if I mess up. I won?t cheat AMD, Maybe Intel, but not AMD.

If you tape things off and take your time. It should be no problem. There are many people that are doing this with no issues. Do a search you will see many success stories!
