XP RC1 CD Delivered To Me Today

I don't know if if this is old news or not but I received the Win XP RC1 CD in the mail this morning so they must be shipping. Anybody else get it yet?

Edited here: It came in a nice blue plastic folder, much like DVD's come in when you purchase them. Well packed in a bubble pack shipper and mailed from Ohio. 489MB of the CD is used in folders DOCS, I386, SUPPORT, & VALUEADD. The Product Key is a sticker on the outside of the plastic CD holder.

I haven't installed it yet but will just as soon as I make a copy of it (doing this as I write). By the way ArronP, I'm a software developer dependent on MS so it's worth it to me to check out software on nearly released MS operating systems. I'd have paid $100 for it. If it isn't worth it to you that's your business. I only posted this because I thought people would be interested not to have my motives questioned.

Could you post how large the installation is please.

PS: how is it packaged (in a box or what)?

its so nice how M$ give you the privelage of paying THEM 10 bucks to test their software. They should be paying you!

AaronP: Why should they pay me to test the software? I am not a Beta tester. I give them no feedback at all as to what their OS needs/doesn't need. I get to test it before it comes out to see if I should purchase it when it comes out. I don't feel like droping a few hundred on the final product to find out that I don't need/want it. I can drop 20 bucks on this preview then if I don't like it I lose 20 instead of whatever the final price is (about 200?).

Would I like to see a deal where I get my money back if I purchase the final product . . . you bet I do! Should they pay me to test something . . . NO!

I got my disc Tuesday, installed it that night and been running it since. I like it so far, no real problems with compatibility yet other than that Deus Ex won't recognize any keyboard/mouse input.

Your just now getting RC1..Thats sucks!!! You'll get to download RC2 in a couple weeks
