If both machines are XP or above and you've enabled drive sharing in the connection, just open 'My Computer' on the remote machine and drag/drop files over.

I hope you have plenty of bandwidth, I've found that even through decent internet connections (1.5Mb) the file xfurs through terminal services are dissapointingly slow.

Thanks for the help, but how do I enable file sharing? I have cable at home and a T3 connection at work, so it should work out well.........I hope.
I would not suggest sharing across the internet. What you can find out is if your workplace has the ability for you to create a VPN. This will allow you to connect to your work network securely (encrypted). You in effect become part of their local network until you disconnect the VPN.

You just lost me...my workplace doesnt know that I am using there connection to do this...I am hooking up my personal laptop to their network. I have no problem with enabling file sharing since it wont be longer than 15 minutes or so, I just need to know how to do it.
It wasn't refering to 'file sharing' per say, on the remote desktop connection go to 'local resources' and under 'local devices' make sure that 'disk drives' are enable. If so, once you connect the remote drives should show up under 'My Computer'
