oh in fx thers also a setting for large icons.

don't forget to install yz's shadow and yz's toolbar. both pretty nice and easy programs, window shadows and transparent menus are neat and a nice way to waste your excess ghz

i havn't figured out yz's dock yet

i used xp powertools tweak ui to bring back all the normal desktop icons. there are some other ones i've seen in this picture that i dunno where to get though

like the movie icon, and the itunes cd icon.

i'd rather pick and choose how my comps interface is like then go with the default. i'm certainly not going full mac by buying one because i can't stand its weaknesses, one button mouse? gah!

if you don't like a 1 button mouse then buy a 2 button mouse for it...

I've been running it for a couple of days now and it looks really nice.
I'm trying to integrate it into my windows XP CD now so it installs by default. I'll let you know...

It took me about an hour to replace all the DLLs in my windows folder. I havn't gotten round to changing the login/bootup screen yet but once logged on, tt looks great.

As far as the integrated install goes, I'm gonna see if I can re-build a bootable SP1 cd with all the DLL's pre-replaced then write a couple of batch files to install any extras. My evential aim is to make it the default theme so that it looks liks OSX from the start.

Wow, the Iceman skin/theme/whatever looks AMAZING.

Nope, that's the whole point.

Rob

I thought it might require an old version or something because it specifically said that it works with SP1. I have an older free StyleXP that doesn't work with SP1.

ObjectDock seems to be maturing well.

I'm going to get to work on a customize XP SP1 disc with the Iceman theme schemed in. Wonder if there's a way to edit the Windows Setup ini's and bmp's to get it to become "Apple Windows OS XP"?

I did the uxtheme stuff but uxtheme.dll wasn't in the system32 folder, so there was nothing to back up... I just copied it from the root. But I can't select skins that I used with StyleXP... .theme files are required. What the??

so ya, can't download stylexp because it won't connect to site. i can't replace dll's because they are all in use. i don't have a dllcache folder (wtf). i downloaded the cool osX toolbar, and it shows up, but none of the icons shortcut to anything. bah, this is going to take forever to finish.

u only get that directory if u install sp1. files are either in the sp1 directory or dllcache directory, but never at the same time.

its on the site under the tutorials.. under sp1

did u read the tutorial? yes they are in use, and if u try copying over em in windows they will restore themselves. u either gogtta boot from another os or boot disk or one of the other methods listed on the site.

the dock.. u gotta drag exes to it.

dllcache is in system32 folder. it is hidden system. if u didn't uncheck hide that sh*t in folder options then u won't see it. read the tutorial
