Excuse me, but what about this is hot? All overclocking aside, the 200FSB Barton 3000+ is $199 @ Newegg, and is a *much* better choice. Also the 2700+ is only $115. If you plan on overclocking, almost every $90 2500+ on the planet will do @ least 3000+, most at close to stock voltage (if not stock).
if you're overclocking, why not try to kick the 3000+ at 333fsb up to a 400fsb (the way you get the 2500+ to a 3200+) and see how that performs? Not sure if it's a deal cuz I'm fairly new here and have seen some awesome deals by everyone.
