saw this in the circuit city ad today

Canon XS with kit lens - 599.99

Canon 70-300 IS - 229.99

combo price 679.98 total package

now the lens may be a misprint but it shows the is in the picture and web code matches the IS

now if you can just get the lens for that price alone this will burn.

That can't be an IS lense. They go for $600+, the regular non IS lense goes for 229 to 235. Still a nice deal though.

Went to CC. Says it's a typo, it's actually for the 75-300, non-IS.

For those in the Bayarea, San Jose Camera and Video has has the Canon EOS Rebel XS with
two lenses. The 18-55mm IS and the 75-300mm Canon and gadget bag for 599.00

There isn't a ropad for it in the SJMN and their website doesn't show this deal. It's on page 5B of yesterday's SJMN.
