It's dropped to $409.99 now. Of course you'll only get that if you re-order or cause a lot of ruckus. I've been holding out since August 2nd on this, and I'm seriously considering cancelling and ordering somewhere else... The MSI card looks good and the Doom 3 bundle is nice, but there's a lot of other good deals out there now too.

A pity...

no, not the Order Summary, i sent the receipt, it has the order #, name and address etc. in the Order summary page, theres a button that says "View receipt". thats what you have to send, according to the Greatfun instructions.

Mine shipped and is delievered w00t! Gonna sell all the games in the bundle hopefully drop the price to around 300 (I used the 10% off) bux minus whatever I can get for my 4400 now. Sweet deal.

Anyone know when buy charges your card? I've gotten mine but it's still not on my cc.

wxman44.. did you get doom3 in your package? The card came with all the games but no doom3 box. I'm assuming that doom3 was supposed to be seperate.. it wasn't. It definately wasn't in the box. The invoice shows just the bundle with doom3 attached to the end. I think this is going to be an uphill battle.

Yes, I also got the game without Doom 3. So they clearly shipped it to everyone without it.

I emailed them about it, demanding either Doom 3, or $50 back. We shall see what they say.

I just recieved the card today and I did not recieve Doom3 with the package either. I'm going to have to contact them to see what's up with that.

I'd rather get $50 back instead of the game!

I think buy.com was mistaken this whole time thinking the game was bundled. I definately don't want to return my card. I don't know what else to suggest to them.

Alright, bumping this thread.

Has >anyone< heard back from Buy.com about this yet? It has been 25 days since I emailed them about this, still no answer.

Nope. I called there customer support and that was no help. I filed a claim with them on their website and it's past the 15 days that they said they would process the claim and I haven't heard squat. I e-mailed them last Friday and haven't heard anything (though it's too early to expect to hear from them).

Come Wednesday if I still haven't heard anything, they won't be getting any money for the video card they sent me.

They don't respond to any of my emails, basically, other than a generic "we received your email" response.

Buy.com had an ad for a Jaton 256MB 6800GT. It even said so on my receipt, before I cancelled it, finding out that Jaton didn't have a GT model. Did not stop them from shipping other people vanilla 6800s.

I see so many "misprints" on high priced cards and they are no different from the rest of the scammers.

I still have received no reply from buy.com on my missing doom3 from my video card order. I first submitted the claim on sept 21, waiting the 15 *business* days. Got a call into India and they said wait another 15, I talked to my cc and they said to call them if there is no response by the second 15 days. Which will end next week.

For anyone still paying attention to all this:

I finally submitted a claim with my bank to have part of the charges reversed, I am requesting they take $50 off the price I paid since I didn't receive all the merchandise (and since it was clearly never shipped).

I suggest that anyone else who bought into this deal do the same thing.

Buy.com says that since my order was incomplete I will have to return and send another one.

Considering it's been two months I have already sold my old video card, I have asked them to send me a card and I will ship the other one back so I will still have a computer and they can hold the charge on my cc if they want. They will "get back" to me on that next week. If they don't do anything for that I will finally call my cc.
