From what I can see, it seems like there is an equipment level on the coupe called 1SX. You can't order many options on that equipment level at all, and it's just labeled as "base". I'm assuming its a low cost, no frills car??

Are there any transmission options? - Just Manual or Automatic
Is there a next-Gen Active handling being used? - Just says Active Handling
Active Handling?? -- Yes, standard

I think Corvette customers wouldn't mind paying a little more $ for a better interior. For some reasons (Chevy pickups, Lumina, Malibu etc have horrible interior) , I don't have faith in Chevy (GM) interior designers. Even the newer models suck, such as the new Malibu sedan and Chevy Colorado pickup. Is it the designers' fault or is it the been counters'? Who knows.

The GM A6 is still 1-2 years away sadly. This one will have to do for now.

The the base 6L engine is expected to put out 400hp.

Arg, I was hoping for some offical HP ratings, and more specifically, information regarding the next generation Z06.

Latest rumour was:

Base 400hp
Z06 500hp (in one years time)
ZL1 600hp (even later, very limited)

I think they have it wrong... it should be a 7 liter (427CI) in the Z06.

Man guys buy up the LQ4 block just so they can do the 427 bore and stroke since the skirt is so thick on that block.

Here is the layout of the 3 valve heads for the LS2/LS7

It also looks like for the DoD Truck motors they will go to a 3 valve system as well.... I just hope they will fit on the LQ4's
