To me it looks like the fule tank in the Porsche was ruptured by the crash spewing fuel alll over the Ferrari.

My God - that is a ghastly video. Isn't the whole point of racing fuel cells that they don't suddenly rupture and explode like that? It's amazing he survived.

jesus, that's brutal. the guy in the porsche looked like he was in bad shape the way he crawled out of his car, and the ferrari took a huge hit to the side when they crashed. scary stuff.

Most racing I know of takes place even in rain.
In Britain, you don't have much choice.

Formula 1, Touring Cars, F3000, F3, Formula Ford (crappy single seaters), all support races (Porsche Cup etc), and I think GT races do too.

Um he hit the porsche on with the side of his car. Now imagine this, the fuel rail was probably right there. The fuel presure in those cars are probably pretty high and the fuel they are using is very high grade sh!t. It wasnt the fuel cells fault.

i dunno anything about what causes cars to explode. I was just following the logic there... if racing fuel cells aren't supposed to explode like that, but it did... then something went wrong, and thus the person wins the lawsuit. I wasn't disagreeing or trying to correct anyone
