I get the cheapest sh|t i can find. The previous owner scratched the windshield so I don't really care anyway.

I just get the cheap Anco wipers. 30 seconds per side of the car, and $6 for the pair. If they start getting bad, I replace them. Sometimes they last 6 months; sometimes 2 years.

Bosch, they supply wipers to Mercedes-Benz, Audi, BMW, and other car manufacturers I believe.

I've used the cheapest Pylon blades, and something else that was 3x the price. Both did a decent job in rain, and both suck in the winter. The "3x the price" ones were the more expensive ones at Walmart, and come to think of it, they're probably at least 2 years old now. The worst treatment they get is from trying to free them when they get covered with ice and stuck to the windshield. I see that a few people will lift the wipers before a snowstorm comes so that they won't stick. I'll have to try to remember to do this.

I got my last 2 sets from Target. I think they are $3 each and work well on the Saab and Corvette.

I'm at 2.5 years for my Silblades. For some odd reason I can't find the order in my archived email though to look up the price.

You get what you pay for! Good wipers will let you see and you can't put a price on that! [/obligatory]

You people think $5 doesn't add up? You think everyone who could benefit from $5 is a loser? Grow up.

In florida I change blades every oil change.
Wow, lol..

I change my wipers when they fall apart.

Maybe he's not worried, maybe he's just seeking monetary efficiency.

What could I ask next? Which is better - Kool-aid or the Walmart-brand stuff? Each pack costs less than 25 cents, and a pitcher of the mix uses a cup of sugar. It's cheap, but still a worthwhile question. Temporal efficiency, perhaps?

Just put these on my car and love em, not all blades are the same, for people to assume this because they're all made of rubber is silly. I paid 2x more than the cheap brand @ Auto Zone but I'm glad I did. They work better than the last set I bought, maybe not a whole lot of difference but never rains in Southern California and I only replace them once every 3 years so this was a good extra 10 bucks spent

I use Rain-X windshield washer fluid, so I almost never need to use my wipers.
