Drain it immediately.

just did some research. what i did might cause over pressure to the engine due to heat expansion of the oil. so, i think i am going to remove some oil tomorrow by draining it by removing the filter. unless i could get a small tube from a hardware store and somehow siphon some out.

Not really from heat expansion, more likely you'll have problems from the crankshaft whipping the oil into a froth. There are suction tools that you can stick down the dipstick to remove excess oil, but I can't recall any names off the top of my head.

i doubt it would work, he'd have to attach a hose to reach the oil pan and and may not be able to draw enough oil to be effective.

If it's too high the crank will churn the oil into a foam, and foam doesn't pump well, thus extra oil = oil starvation, as ironic as that is.

hey guys... i haven't removed the oil yet, i need to find a time when i am not busy to do it. but lately, ive been noticing a decrease in power during acceleration..... should i be concerned?
