Then I was thinking. Why am I trying to be sensible? I'll just do that when I'm older.

Once again, 'man-card' and 'acceptable mid-life crisis car card' retention are both at stake with this recommendation
edit - hahaha that was a quick edit - I didn't even end up quoting the original post

I was thinking about price range. I though V8 stang cost more then $30k after tax. There is nothing wrong with a V6 stang. It looks good and fuel efficient comapre to V8.
Do you really want to pay $60-70 everytime you wanta fuel ur tank for the hell of a mid-life crsis? most chicks couldn't tell the difference.

But you could. Last I checked, the mileage difference wasn't all that impressive, either - the 8-cylinder engine in the mustang is much newer technology.
Personally I think all Mustangs use too much gas, and sadly, that would probably stop me from buying one.

Isn't the V6 in the new Mustang a brand new DOHC unit? That's much newer than the 4.6 that they've been using for some time now.

I'd probably go with an old porsche... something mid 80s. If I could I would so have a RUF 959
I fill up a Lincoln with a V8 for $35/tank with Premium. I don't know which orifice you're pulling that "$60-70" out of...Originally posted by: iversonyin
