It tells me that I don't really like newer cars and that I like to try out a lot of different cars.

Only 24! I always had you down as an older guy, i.e late 40's, early 50's! Dunno why

Communication style. I've gotten that a lot. I'm just prematurely a stubborn old bastard. Plus, I've done a lot with cars in my few years so I've got the mechanical bits figured out pretty well and generally most people don't have that experience until they're older.

1981 Pontiac Sunbird in 1988
1983 Ford Escort in 1989 (Sunbird lasted a long time!)
1987 VW Fox Wagon in 1993
1988 VW Fox Sedan in ~1997
2001 Dodge Dakota Quad Cab in 2001 (I miss that truck!!)
1994 Toyota Corolla (right hand drive) in 2002
1991 Ford Ranger in 2005

Soon: 1998 Ford Ranger

I guess the list says I'm cheap, but I'm also paying on a 2005 Jeep Liberty right now which the wife drives. I'll probably inherit that when we buy a Chrylser Town & Country in a couple years.

What does this say about me. I would rather spend money on bikes then spend money on cars.

Yea, took the words out of my mouth.. You're very wise and knowledgable and i guess generally that kind of thing comes with age and experience.

Not a problem - feeling is mutual.
Then why'd you thread-crap in the first place?

ZV

It wasn't thread crapping - it was an honest answer!

Rebuilt 1997 Hyundai Elantra GLS. I think I bought it sometime in 2000, and it's still working reasonably well, with close to 90,000 miles on it, 55,000 of which are mine.
