I would have loved if my upstairs or downstairs neighbors got off their butts to shovel the snow when I lived in a triple-decker and we were collectively responsible for shoveling the small sliver of sidewalk.

While I don't disagree with you, I somehow doubt any amount of talking would help here. An adult shouldn't have to be told "You know, you shouldn't call 911 because a black person is shoving snow" She's either a racist POS and knows exactly what she did, or she's off in the head and needs professional help. Either way, she wouldn't understand why she shouldn't have called 911. Imagine having the mindset that when you see a black person shoveling snow your initial thought's to call 911 lol. on a slightly good note, Maurice Hastings is released after 38 years of wrongful conviction. of course, he never should have been convicted in the first place given that witnesses corroborated his alibi and no physical evidence linked him to the crimes he was accused of. his plea for DNA testing was also denied in the year 2000. So we had an opportunity to free him 23 years ago, and that did not happen.

Oh, Salisbury NC. Yea, my mother in-law was from there. They got real good barbeque is all the good I can say about that place. Maiden name being Click which was a bastardized version of Gluck or something like that. When my ex's grandmother passed away, we went to the funeral and burial. The only other place I saw so many German names on gravestones was the Wash. DC cemetery near the Evangelical United Brethren (EUB), now United Methodist church my grandmother went to most of her life. Byer was her maiden name.
