Its a bushnell 6-18x adjustable with focus to 800 yards. It's actually the scope from my 30-30. Eventually i'll get something more suited to the AR.

Is that the one with the springs? I actually have one, but it doesn't rail mount so I used this one.

Aren't the Magpul magazines awesome!?! I also have the window versions and love 'em to death.

So what do you plan on doing with a flashlight or two on there? Why not install some HIDs?

I'm personally going for a 'stock' looking AR-15. I have a DPMS rig with the Magpul and I'm looking at purchasing a Trijicon TA31 in a few weeks. Can't decide if I want to keep the handle on there or just mount the scope right to the top...hm...

Just out of curiosity, what do you use for plinking? I've been told that Wolf/Bear is OK, but it's pretty dirty stuff and you have to clean your gun often. I've only shot Remington and Fiocchi through mine so far.

Looks nice!

I wouldn't use the russian shit... I have a thousand rounds of PMC at the moment. I haven't actually gotten to fire it yet The local range is closed for another month while they clean 50 years of lead out of the hillside (damn tree huggers)

What's the point of the flashlight with an 800 yard scope?

I have a red-dot as well to use in place of that scope.

You wouldn't touch Russian "shit" but you'll use PMC. The range here sells PMC as "cheap range ammo" since they won't let you shoot Wolf, even the softpoints or hollow points". I put a mag through and PMC is the dirtiest crap ever. I've run lots of rounds of Wolf, Bear, and Monarch through my guns and never had a problem.
Though I do have a 500 rnd block of Federal ss109 still un-opened, and I need to get about 1500 more rounds of it for the next outing.

Depends completely on what the company is making. Wolf does put out match ammo, and other can be junk. PMC is a .gov contractor as an ammo supplier. Just because there is a batch of nasty stuff doesn't mean it applies to all their other lines.

Need to drop that glass and get a real optic for a rifle like that - aimpoint or an EOthingy.

Aimpoints are nice because you can leave them turned on for years at a time without replacing batteries.

Wolf is perfectly fine as plinking ammo, as long as you get the stuff with the gray metal cases. The older green colored stuff is very nasty, and is coated with some lacquer crap that really sucks to clean up, and causes feeding issues.

Any wolf made within the last two years is going to be the decent stuff, well worth shooting when you are just plinking or screwing around.

I also have a Ciener .22LR kit to use in my AR's, thats where it gets REAL cheap.
