YAGT 12-9-05 Suggestions to rid puke smell in car

Never had puke in the car before, it ain't smelling rosey that's for sure.

More of how this happened.

I took my new Hottie to get her Nipples pierced.

This required serious deadening as in double Margaritas and the Bartender which was also female was very very sympathetic to the cause by pouring a lot more Tequila in after the two shots. So even though she had three double Margaritas, was more like closer to nine.

After the peircing and dinner all was going well until the ride across The Causeway (The World's Longest Bridge) http://www.thecauseway.com/ where we were doing 65 mph and there is 8 miles between crossovers is when she got suddenly sick as in completely emptied out. She was starved in the morning.

Vodka.... they did a thing on it on myth busters... it did a good job getting rid of many different smells.

Get a squirt bottle of Resolve.
Squirt all of it in.
Use a shop vac to suck it out.
Pour copious amounts of water on the offending area and suck it out with the shopvac while it's pouring.

The worst thing I ever spilled in my car was a roast, carrots and potatoes that were in a crock pot.
The smell in the summer would knock a maggot off a gut wagon.
There was no cleaning it so I got a whole bunch of smelly things and put them in the car. The good smell eventually battled away the bad smell.

when i puked in my own car... the following worked.

some Magic Foaming Carpet Cleaner, or something like that.

never had a smell.

and i used a shop vac for quite some time.

Listerine does a fabulous job. Get the original (yellow) stuff.

If you haven't done it yet, use a steam cleaner. Puke soaks in to everything. You've gotta keep cleaning it until the water comes out clean (note: you'll need to do the whole car or you'll get a nice clean spot and everything else will look dingy.) After that, use an enzyme cleaner like they make for cleaning up pet or kid accidents. That'll help a lot.

It wasn't me that threw up but my new hottie. I bought her too many Margarita's.

Dinner was seafood and it happened while doing 65 on the bridge so could not stop.

The whole car is filled because the wind blew it all back in.

Persoanlly, I would pull the seats and carpets and clean everything well. Then I would not do it again.

Go to your local pet store. they have stuff that takes odors out of fabrics, carpets, etc. You basically saturate the offending area and after a few days, the enzymes will do it's job and get rid of the smell. Worked for my wife's car, where she had spoiled milk in the car.
