Not really a YAGT thread but a question about social ettiquette, I guess. So there's this girl I met at an audition who found me on myspace (yeah, shut up) who I've only really seen in the really real world 3 times, in professional situations. Not a close friend by any stretch of the word, but we've kept casual conversations going and, yes, I find her very attractive and have a bit of a crush on her.
Then, after being bored and feeling like a wuss, I decided to email her, saying that we should hang out to just catch up and such. She replies saying that we should do brunch...
Now, I don't usually get nervous but I'm feeling anxious. No, I don't think this girl has any feelings for me - she's way out of my league and she doesn't really know me. I just don't want to make an ass out of myself. Any suggestions? Should I just flake out since I'm so nervous?

Yet another freedomsbeat212 exchanges ten words with a girl on MySpace and turns it into a "OMG we're going to go out!" thread.
Oh hey look, all the pictures of her that you have are on MySpace! What a coincidence!

based on your myspace profile, perhaps she thinks you're gay and wants a friend
So be it! I wouldn't mind having her as a friend. It's just i don't want to make an ass out of myself.
oh and take her off that pedestal. She isnt that special or different.. she takes a smelly dump just like you. if you mess it up there are ohhhhhh.....a billion others.

Never assume that a girl is out of your league, because then she is.
Go for brunch and pursue the friend route. That is normally how guys over achieve any way.

i find it best to always operate on the assumption that every girl you encounter really wants you.
