She is to be a senior in high school. Hasn't chosen a college yet.

Obviously this can be nothing long term, I don't look at it that way. The question is whether immaturity will be a problem in the short term.

Ok, why the hell not? 18 months? I'm a senior in high school and I'd still date a junior. Girls mature before guys anyways. Shes probably more mature than you anyways. Why does it matter in college besides, she hasnt decided where shes going to college?

if she's 18, then yeah, it's "ok." but here's the thing. you've probably (hopefully!) done a lot of growing up since leaving for college... she is still in a different world. expect drama for ridiculous reasons, jealousy about the girls at your school, endless conversations about inconsequential high-school-style gossip, etc. basically, if you're capable of having a fulfilling relationship with her, it's probably because you're immature! BUT, fulfilling is fulfilling, no matter why, so if you like her and she likes you and it's good, then go for it.

It's no so much the age difference that is the problem. Even one year at college changes women quite a bit. I actually can't stand 90% of most high school girls, so unless she is incredibly mature for her age i'd say no.
