My gf is 1.5 years older then me but we're both in University. I wouldn't recommend dating someone in HS though if you are in College.

Is she going to the same college as you? Or will you guys be in close proximity?

She is to be a senior in high school. Hasn't chosen a college yet.

Obviously this can be nothing long term, I don't look at it that way. The question is whether immaturity will be a problem in the short term.

there's really only one way to find out.

what do you have to lose?

As the mother of a daughter who will be a senior in highschool this year...

With all your talk about abortion, you need to realize that MANY unwanted pregnancies arise from the relationships of teenage girls and their older boyfriends. No matter how strong you think you are, you are getting into very dangerous territory here.

Children in our modern society are very slow to mature (many 30 year olds are still babies, IMHO!) and no matter how wise and mature the two of you think you are, when hormones take over, all bets are off.

In the END, you will be the one to make sure nothing happens. Can you handle that?

I did it for 2 years. Tap that thing for the summer and go back to college. Don't leave on bad terms incase you want some more for next summer.

My daughter will be 18 late this year, her boyfriend will be 21. They've known each other since they were kids on the playground. It works out well, but they are very serious about life in general.

They will probably start getting more intimate soon, and I'm fine with that. It's meaningful and not just 'getting some'.

BUT, fulfilling is fulfilling, no matter why, so if you like her and she likes you and it's good, then go for it.

you know this actually makes sense. fulfilling is fulfilling.

definitely call her at least, maybe you guys can become friends with benefits or whatever. once she goes to college, she's sure to meet some cute friends as well. it'd just be stupid to avoid her completely.

for the love of god, don't expect a serious relationship to develop out of it though.

I started dating my current g/f when I was a Junior in HS and she a soph. There's about 2 actual years difference in our age.

My freshman year in college she was a senior in HS, the most mature girl I've ever met at that age.

As you can see in my sig., after nearly 4 years together things couldn't be better, at least until Friday

Make sure she's mature, and go for it!

You really have nothing to lose. If she is too immature, cut it off quick, otherwise you may have a memorable summer. Just don't expect a long term relationship.

btw I can't answer this w/o pics.

Highschool girls...really only good for sleeping with. Women don't even start to get unretarded until their early 20s.
