Take this situation. (I am not harping on you just want ot help) Say you have been told to fix the fence. You do all this and the fence. really nice of you but now lets say your getting paid by a contractor to fix the fence. You just took over twice as much time to do the job then the guy who would have just fixed the fence. This is basically the you need to focus and not get carried away thing.
Ok now second. I understand somewhat how you feel, hell I was in that position, I am now devorced at 21 so listen to your own words of your trying to grow up to fast. its good to see relationships as important but instead of worrying about the physical points how about this, Get to know everything about her. Then get it to where you to can know whats going on with eachother without even saying it. Thats a step towards knowing eachother. Now try and find out from your parents just what it takes to live in a relationship because your not going to always get along and it can be very rough, and no your not imagining the odd things your partner can do trust me, no one does they blow your mind, lol. These are good for the relationship side but the thing you should really be trying to learn about is how hard it is to live on your own. If you want an idea tell your parents that for half the year you want to pay your own bills, and I mean all of them. Food, Utilities, rent, you name it tell them you want to know what it feels like to live on your own. Don't negociate for rule changes just take it as it is. Now the agreement will be that after 6 months you get all that money back and you will see just howmuch you can spend in half a year and in half a year you will know how much you have to do what you want. Warning, this may make you want to stay at home. And I am assuming your old enough to have your own job. When you fail to meet the bills you lose what you did not pay for. Now your protected so your not going to get the full effect of this but this will prepair you for dealing with this with a mate, lol and that 100 times worse because they have to worry about the same things you will have to.
Anyway Hopefully thats some food for thought for you. You pointed out to yourself your growing up to fast, if you focus on what I told you your going to see that outside of work your going to lose many freedoms by being an adult, the ones you take for granted and the ones you have to deal with because of it.

Ok now that i know its not that you made out (Sorry by the second paragraph I could not make it that far, I wish i had and I did not want to be mean and not post anything to help you lets see here....everyones made fun of everything fo weenie and halo 2 were funny but anyway.
