I had to go through a similar break up, though by the time i did it, i was borderline angry with her continual attitude, and that i had gotten myself into the relationship in the first place. It all became very apparent (what she was really like, what i had suspected) when i actually did it. She didn't cry, she sat on the phone and talked me through deleteting all the pictures of us from facebook and her computer...i couldn't bring myself to hang up, (should have), it was about the most juvenile thing i had ever witnessed. I was thinking if that is what makes you feel better, you need serious help. About a week later she tried to make nice with me, basically she wanted to be fvck buddies, and i pretty much told her to fvck herself. she then tried to ruin my friendship with a bunch of the other girls that lived in her building. I got my revenge for that one, and havn't spoken to her since, despite numerous advances. Like someone said, if she cries, she is probably sincere. if she doesn't cry, and gets angry, cut her the fvck off.

why is she boring? Is she just too conservative? Is she a sit home and watch tv girl?

I've read both threads and there is not enough info for anybody to give you good advice.
The only thing that I've gotten out of it is your extremely shy and inexperienced at dating, and don't seem to have a clue what you want from a relationship.

You talk about how she is not affectionate, but frankly your coming across like your cold as a fish and scared to death. You say when you kiss her, she kisses you back, then what? It almost sounds like your describing a surgical procedure not an intimate moment.

And taking her out with your married friends seeking their approval is just wierd, the poor girl was probably boring because she was scared to death. It sounds like you have a problem with her being 5yrs younger than you and are looking for someone to tell you it's OK. And the part about her spending her dads money, shes still in college and is being supported 100% by her parents this is normal and something that will change.

Sounds to me like you need an older woman thats financially secure and independent to take the lead in a relationship, and make you her boy toy

Why don't you be frank with her? Ask her if she can be more romantic? If she says that she cannot then you can come and say that you two aren't compatible. Knowing why someone wants to break up with you gives you closure.

If you just started seeing her, simply say you don't have any sparks or whatever works best for you.

Any adult should understand this, it's got nothing to do with you or them, it's just together doesn't work romantically.

If you are interested in being friends you can go that route and if you are interested in perhaps having a fling now and again you can leave it at that. It depends what kind of dating you do.

Usually I let the first dates decide if I am just looking for something physical or perhaps more from the person as well as if I ever call them again. Likewise I am sure they are thinking the same way.
