YAGT: My GF busted me out...

My GF just got a new job at a Japanese resturaunt, where she is training to be a Sushi Chef.

She was making small talk with a waiter who happened to be an ex IT proffesional.

She told him that I recently failed the BSCI exam 3 times in a row.

I know it isn't really that big of a deal cuz I will really never see this dude, but I told her that it was kind of embarrasing, and I would rather her not tell people about it.

Am I wrong for feeling this way ?

I guess I mind most, becuz the dude is/was an IT guy himself. It's that whole "Nerd Ego" thing, I guess.

And also, because he is kind of a new accquaintance (sp?) of both of ours, and I will have to hang out with him in the future.
