I don't have a ton of experience with holsters, but my Comp-Tac MTAC IWB holster works great. From what I gather, CrossBreed also makes good ones.

MTAC holster is better. Unless they've changed prices you get a lot more for the money. The leather on the MTAC is significantly thicker. I've had one for a few years and love it. Buddy bought a crossbread and was pissed when we compared them. Another negative on the crossbread is their insistence on putting crosses on the belt loops drawing attention to them.

If you've got the money consider an all leather holster as well. My current one is a custom job from rgrizzle and it rocks. Certainly not cheap but a very high quality piece. Got it because there were not any commercial holsters available for the gun at the time but he will be getting my business from here on out.

Reloading .223 I notice some runout on the loaded cartridges. I roll them on a table and the bullet tip wobbles. Not on all of them , just some. Would a competition seating die help? Using Lee collet neck sizer with Lee standard seating die. Averaging 3/4 MOA but feel I can do better with improved concentricity.

If there's one thing Lee gets pretty dead nuts correct...it's dies.

...not that they've ever put out a bad die, but I'd cover other bases first.

- Crimping?
- Neck prep? (In addition to sizing) Chamfering/Deburring etc.
- What bullets are you using?

Do you have the same run out results with new brass vs. fired?

A *ton* of factors could be causing the MOA. (Barrel length, profile, free float or not, etc. etc.)

The only instance that would truly concern me is if you're getting substantially tighter groups from boxed ammo than you are from your reloads.

Brass was fired in my rifle and then tumbled, washed, neck sized/decapped, trimmed, chamfered & deburred, cleaned again and then primed and loaded.
Bullets are Hornady 53gr V-max and Sierra 55gr BlitzKings. The sierras give consistent 3/4" groups average and the hornady's almost as good. Factory ammo doesn't do this well, it groups about 1 1/4" usually. I'll have to run an inspection of the processed brass before and after loading to see where the runout is showing up and why it only happens sometimes. I use mixed brass, so that may play a role in certain brands not being as consistent as others maybe. But its all fireformed, so we'll see.

oh man....just heard it on the radio

There is a new indoor gun range opening a mile from work. This will not end well. Way too easy to go blow off some steam on lunch now.

I wonder if they will sell guns too?

22.99 here
http://www.kygunco.com/ruger-bx-25-1022-magazine-22-lr-black-44726

I got a email about an order for a browning hi power mag I ordered back on 12/19. I had to call and update my credit card as it had expired since I placed the order, lol.

30 rd Arsenal Bulgarian Circle 10 7.62x39 mags dropping yet? I had been buying them for $30 which was already assrape but since Dec '12 they jacked the price to $45 and everywhere else of course immediately adjusted.

LOL. I can definitely picture some of the Representatives/Senators that are so against guns saying things like that. Take Carolyn McCarthy talking about barrel shrouds: "Is it the shoulder thing that goes up?" These are the kind of fucking morons writing the laws.

I find the ignorance of legislators writing these gun laws interesting, in that it presumably illustrates their general lack of knowledge of most of the things they are legislating.

Why would we sell them? Now is the time to buy! And lead bullets is another issue. Based on the text of the legislation it really puts outdoor ranges in a gray area.

I'm shocked their attempt to redefine shotguns failed its first vote on the floor.

Opps i meant to say id sell a couple lol. Mornings arent the best time for me to post

And yeah the bullet thing is just absurd. Though im sure Barnes just went a uh o since they are about the only ones i know making an all copper bullet (off the top of my head)

And its sad i enjoy being in Cali...well San Diego. Would love to bring my long guns out and shoot down there but man its a pain in the ass. Assuming you do things legally that is.

Unless I misread the bill, I believe that it specifically calls out centerfire rifles. I'm hoping that the 10/22's are safe, for now.

i havent seen the actual wording but all the news sources i read just say "semi-automatic capable of accepting a detachable magazine" Which means 10/22's saiga shotguns, ar's, and rifles like them.
