You can't bring your own targets at your range? I usually order a bunch from letargets.com (like 29 cents each for the standards). Then I start taping up my own printed targets.

who said i can;t bring my own targets? I'm not talking about buying targets at a range, I'm talking about buying targets anywhere.

I printed a bunch of my own targets. I work for a printing company and used some of the off cuts to make targets. Ran them right on the press.

I don't get why targets are so expensive? I know those targets are printed with "pretty" pictures but to charge 2 a piece for paper is fucking ridiculous. I like the shoot-n-see targets and they are usually just black and orange and they are expensive too.

Where are you seeing $2 each targets except for at ranges? I just bought a bunch of SR-1 rifle targets from midway at $.35 each. Even reactive targets are around a quarter each on Amazon.

The full sized reactive zombie ones can get pricey.

What ya got planned for them?

My next AR is probably going to be a AR pistol 300blk since we cant do SBR's (yet) here in WA.

Then i plan to build (or buy still undecided) a LR-308. Megan Maten MKM for that

The gen 4 G19 30274 ejector seems to have solved the brass to face issue on my gen 3 G19. $7 part, cheap fix and really quite easy once I figured out how it was actually inserted into the rear block. So much nicer to shoot without getting pelted in the face. The only downside I had was having a blister on my palm from incorrectly gripping a dumbbell while doing rows making everything hurt as it recoiled straight into that spot.

I was just reading up on that. For $10 I'm going to try it.

I'm also really thinking about an extended slide release. Not the stupid looking chrome, stock color. That's always been my one complaint with Glock, the slide release and mag release are like 1/4" off from where I wish they were.

You just bought a new Gen 3?

I hate the Glock slide release, but if you jam the mag in hard enough (Like A Boss) it bumps the slide loose, anyway. At least it did on Gen 3's.

From what I read, not all Gen 4 have the new extractor.

Unless you got an early production Gen4 it should be fine. Mine is Jan 2012 DOM IIRC, and it has the new extractor and runs fine. You could always take it out and check, it literally takes about 2 minutes to remove.

Or just learn to slingshot the slide, so you build up muscle memory for a technique that will work on any semi auto. :whiste:

Thats about how i am. I plan to pick up 3 or 4 more lowers cause i have "ideas" for what to do with them but in reality they would just sit for awhile. But when PSA does lowers for 50 each its hard to beat. I woulda jumped on the last but the one FFL i called up to do the transfer wanted 25 bucks PER a lower so i passed. I know theres guys out there who will do 25 per a transfer (ie as many guns as fit in one shipment) or least offer discounts

Place around here range in price. Many box stores like Academy do FFL transfers at like $40 an item. I know a few people that do them at $10 per transfer no matter how many items in the transfer. So it all depends.
