So I decided my belly band wasn't really doing it anymore and decided to get a couple top-shelf holsters.
For my SIG I got the horsehide
White Hat MaxTuck. The Crossbreed Supertuck gets all the credit for the SIG Pro and is pretty expensive...the White Hat is a little bit less so, with the added bonus of being able to swap out the kydex sheath for different pistols. They listed their average lead time of 3-4 weeks, mine was shipped out in 8 days. Hit a snag, though...my 9mm has a loaded chamber indicator that isn't present in the .40 versions or the early 9s. If my SIG was loaded it wouldn't insert fully (unchambered for the pic). Emailed their support and sent some pictures, next day they say they'll send me a new kydex . I expect it might take a couple more weeks to get. Other than that, it's very comfortable. The leather backing is nice enough I could manage wearing without an undershirt. Regrets? Should've gotten the combat cut, but I should be able to do that myself if I really want to. Also ordered it a day before their 20% off Memorial Day sale. >_<
For my M&Pc I went with the
G-Code INCOG, just arrived tonight. This was designed with consulting from Travis Haley and has some really nice features for the price. The fuzz is just smooth enough, the retention is perfect and the belt clips are amazingly secure (almost too much). Regrets? Should've gone with the full guard that would've covered the entire slide.
Their factory went through a move this year through April and I ordered just as they were finishing. Their original turnaround was 4-6 weeks and with the new factory they hope for 1-3 when settled. Problem is they were apparently backlogged up to 12-15 weeks and weren't communicating it that well to customers so they were blowing up their phones and Facebook page for a while. I decided to be patient. My wait time was a little over 9 weeks, but entirely worth it.
