That would be great if you can post the details (brand, price, vendor) of your build.

I am trying to buy things on Amazon because I have a large gift card balance. TIA.

Lower:

BCMGUNFIGHTER™ Grip Mod 3 - Black $17.95
"Rock River Arms LAR-15 Forged Lower Receiver, stripped $163.00
Lower Parts Kit, AR15 - Rock River $60.00
MIL-SPEC AR15 Receiver Extension - Buffer Tube Kit by Tactical Intent $57.95
Magpul CTR-M Stock - Black $75.95
Viking Tactics Padded Sling $42.70
Magpul Alum Enhanced Trigger Guard, Black $15.10
Bad-Ass Standard Safety Lever $59.25
Super Dynamic Enhanced (SD-E®) Trigger (Geissele) $225.00
Spikes Tactical ST-T2 Buffer $42.00

Upper:

Rainier Arms Raptor Ambidextrous Charging Handle - .223 / 5.56mm $85.00
Ballistic Advantage 5.56 – 16” Hanson Midlength 1″ $216.75
Low Profile Gas Block (Came with Barrel) $0.00
Geissele 13 inch MK8 mlok, Black $270.00
PWS FSC 556 $90.00
Upper Parts Kit (Already on Upper) $0.00
Magpul MBUS Flip Sights (Black) $74.00
Forged A4 Upper Receiver, BCM (Kit Included) $113.00
BCM Bolt Carrier Group $178.00
Gas Tube $11.05

Some of these prices may not include shipping...depends on how much beer I had when I was updating the prices after I ordered them. Most of the parts were bought directly from whoever makes them so I know I wasn't getting knockoffs. The Magpul MBUS sights I found a great deal on as they would normally go 100+ for the pair. Also, some of these prices reflect a law enforcement discount. Its not much, but it did end up saving me money which is always a good thing. Keep a lookout for sales, they happen all the time and saving 20+ bucks on a couple parts adds up fast. Any questions, feel free to ask in thread or PM me.

Hmmm so i have a crap ton of 40S&W brass and plenty of bullets and powder for it (well same bullets as 10mm plinking). Been thinking i should pick up something in 40S&W just for fun. Wouldn't be a carry gun or home defense gun by any means.

So with that what sort of fun guns in 40S&W can you guys think of? Im a sig guy so i could just pick up another sig in 40 but meh kinda want something interesting and fun since it wont get shot all that often. Bonus if it can be threaded!

Found a new one for sale locally a few months ago and decided to get it. Always liked the look of them!

PSA (Palmetto State Armory) does not charge shipping if you order $100 or more (except rimfire ammo).

FallenHero, thank you for the write up.

Finished my 300 BLK AR pistol build this weekend. I went to the range today and shot some 150 gr FMJ and 220 gr FMJ rounds that I picked up at Cabela's. It shot fine; no problems (except for a failure to go into battery once; I'm thinking it was a mag thing cause it didn't strip the round fully into the chamber). I did notice quite a difference shooting the heavier rounds, they were way softer shooting.

Now I want to get the paperwork started for a suppressor. I guess doing it as a Trust is the way to go? Still need to look into that.

Yes, a Trust is definitely the way to go.

Yeah, like others have said it's a pistol with that arm brace on it. Even if that was a real stock, pictures of SBRs are not illegal. It's not like you have to take a pic of your SBR paperwork to post a picture.

Yes, a Trust is definitely the way to go.
Did you go through the process?

I wasn't implying SBR's were illegal. Just that it was illegal to make one without the proper paperwork, which is what it appeared he had done. 'Here's my new AR pistol' accompanied by a picture of a pistol build with a stock slid onto it.

But, as pointed out multiple times, it's apparently legal. I had heard the term 'arm brace' before, but had no idea that it essentially was a functioning stock. God our laws are silly.
