Ordered a stripped PSA glock 9mm AR lower with 10 Magpul Glock 17 for $200. Going to pick it up from FFL on Thursday. Plan is She with 7 or 8 inch barrel. Going to take awhile to build as funds aren't all that available, but I've wanted one for awhile and the price was too good.

$400 for a M&P15 Sport II is a great price. Atleast compared to prices last year here in CA.. $700-$1000 due to demand and pending laws.

$400 for the M&P Sport II is a really good price.
I bought the 22LR version for that price last year. Fun toy at the range (until I get yelled at for rapid firing).

I have the M&P .22 with the bump fire stock. 25 rounds gone in about 2 seconds, but it's totally worth it for the lol effect.

Oh yea. I put a vortex SPARC AR red dot on it. Once zeroed in, at my indoor ranges 25 meters limit it is comically accurate even firing as fast as possible.
Last time I got yelled at I pulled the target in, showed them the grouping and asked why it was an issue since all 25 rounds were within an inch of each other.
Response was that I am not allowed. Oh well. I do it every time until they yell at me.

The doldrums of summer are coming... with the sales environment how it is, I expect a glut of cheap parts and guns. Even more than we have already seen. Places that stocked up excessively prior to November will have to cut their losses sooner or later.

That is basically pre-hook prices for the mags. The AK is just ok of a price. When they get back down to $400 ish I'll bite.

Yesterday is the first time I have heard/seen of micro ammo meant for short barrel pistols....my local walmart had some hydro shock versions of both...the prices were the about the same...

Has anyone fired any of this stuff? is there a real world difference between the regular and micro rounds? I have a beretta nano 9mm, S&W MP Shield 9mm and and a .380 Ruger LCP...

Yes.

Fired from a Beretta 92 as a full size test, no problems, but not terribly accurate.

Fired from Ruger LC9s Pro. There is without a doubt more muzzle snap, but not THAT much more compared to 147gr ammo. I would save the money and just buy 147+p at this point, but these are only my personal experience and opinion.

I would not fire it from my personal Ruger LCP. .380 is already weak enough in regards to penetration. Personally, I use the heaviest Buffalo Bore (Hardcast +p) for carry and Fiocchi FMJ for range-work.

That's how I built my AR pistol, just picked up parts when I had funds and/or when there were sales. It took a few months or so but I got a nice pistol for way cheaper than if I would've bought the thing completed and with those kind of parts on it. (I miss that emote)

Yeah, just have the stripped lower and 10 17 rd mags now. Might try to sell some of the mags and use that to buy like 1 or 2 of the 33 rd mags.
I did do some side work and will be getting a nice paycheck from that, so I'll probably use that to buy some more parts.
I thought about doing a side charging upper, but results seem mixed from what I read.

Kinda like the 7.5" PSA upper with KAK flashcan. Its only $350 but its like never in stock. Might just end up building the upper myself instead.
Hoping to find some stuff for it on sale with Memorial Day sales.

I was kind of wanting a folding stock, but the adapter for those (the good ones) are really expensive.

Better watch out or you'll be labeled a nutter with an arsenal.

S.C. no wait, FTW. Show my CWP, instant background check. OTD in no time.
Same with my NC CHP, it serves as a NICS check. I'm sure gun stores love it also. After fondling many guns and making the decision, the next hardest part is filling out the 4473...... and carry it out the door.

I saw something a bit ago where 14 states their CC permit is a bypass for NICS checks. Not sure if any of those have 'cooling off waits'.

I recently submitted my Eotech for a recall refund and am considering what to replace it with. Does anyone have any experience with any of these:

1. Holosun S503 Paralow
2. Hartman mh1
3. Vortex Razor AMG UH1

I love the size, the choice between two reticles, price, and battery life of the Holosun and it is getting great reviews. However, I also like the wider FOV of the other two, but battery life, recharging with USB, and trying to replace a rechargeable battery, not so much.

The Holosun kind of looks like a Sig I was looking. Really liked it, but at the time it was relatively new and being called a rebranded Holosun.. so I went with a Trijicon MRO after comparing it to the Vortex Sparc AR and Aimpoint T1.

I just ordered my first 1911. The fiancé wanted one, and I abliged. It should be here in about a week. It's a Rock Island ROCK series 1911-A1 Government (5 inch barrel, full size) in 45 ACP. Can't wait!

I also have a 22LR in a 1911 pattern. It's actually an ATI, but it says Colt on it. Hilarious little toy. Damn near impossible to find 22LR ammo that isn't price gouged, though.

Recommend a lower parts kit for a 9mm AR? Want something better than the basic kits, but not too expensive.

Is this a good deal? the reviews are pretty good..

Ruger AR-556 for $449 at PSA

http://palmettostatearmory.com/ruger-16-ar15-5-56-adjustable-rapid-deploy-rear-sight-rifle-8500.html

sale is good through noon tomorrow...

Yup, that's a good price on a quality intro AR15. Several places have that exact rifle on sale at that price, so consider shipping charges (free at the link you posted) are the only real difference. There are cheaper intro AR15 rifles, some with okay reviews, but lots of comments are pay a bit more for Ruger quality and service.

A few folks are saying to hold off as prices are dropping, but how much lower can they go?
