Something like that. I'd probably be labeled a "menace to society" and I have much less than you.

A friend of mine would probably qualify as the leader of ISIS with what he has.

In this state you have an arsenal if you own more than 1 weapon and a "hoard" of ammo if you have more than 50 rounds..... ridiculous.

Haha.... well since I own about 20+ guns at this point I have a massive arsenal then? I also own like 9 or 10 thousand .22lr rounds. Heck, some of that is in the 1400 bucks I have. I know others that have barrels of them. I have a few thousand rounds of other calibers, but mostly .22 as it used to come so cheap. It also allows me to go to the range with a 10/22 or my SR22 and just plink for hours without making much of a dent in my "hoard" at all.

Wasn't it madoka around here that owns like 5 of every type of glock and also lives in CA? Surprised they haven't out him in a mental institution there

For reference, I own a whole lot less than many of my neighbors as we've shown each other some of our collections around here. Just the name of the game when you live in rural south Texas I guess.

I took my new SIG P220 Equinox to the range on Sunday morning with my son and his friend. Put 200 rounds through it. Could not get 8 rounds into one of the magazines though. The other loosened up enough for me to get 8 rounds in after shooting a few magazines through it but one of them I could only get 7 rounds in.

Gun is accurate and nice to shoot. We had a great time punching holes in paper targets. I went through 100 rounds of .44 magnum and 200 rounds of .45 ACP along with maybe 100 rounds of .22 LR.

My son loves shooting my S&W model 629.

I need a bigger gun safe.

Are you using a handy dandy loader or your fingers to put rounds in? I personally use the loader whenever I can. Always get the full rounds in that way. I have a few UpLula loaders and they are great. Pricey but great.

FYI, the UpLula loaders are HUGE margin items, meaning that if you have a reason to make a store "compensate" you for a problem, use the margin leverage on those loaders. You'll both be happy about it.

For example I had a problem at Academy sports with an order for something completely unrelated to firearms. Was with discgolf equipment actually. I went to the store to see if I could get it "fixed" I got it fixed and got the manager to sell me a UpLula loader for a little bit above cost to compensate for my troubles. It was basically $5 for the loader at that point. Bought all the loaders I own doing that around that. Not saying you should try to do that, but if you have an issue and can use it to your advantage I would certainly do that.

OUTSTANDING rig. .300 blackout is perfect for this.

Have you considered an under-mount for the shotgun?

Easy to suppress with subsonic ammunition, plus having the flexibility to run supersonic if I want to. Also, 300blackout has far better ballistics on shorter barrels (and I already have another blackout rifle).

Specs are

PSA lower (that I got from a friend for $15)
Geissele SSA-E trigger
Geissele Super charging handle, in desert dirt
Fail Zero Nickel/EXO coated BCG
PSA upper, 8.5" barrel with 7" mlok handguard
Trijicon MRO patrol kit, with lower 1/3 mount
YHM suppressor mount
YHM Phantom LTA suppressor
Surefire X300 Ultra in Tan
KAK shockwave stabilizer kit
Colt H2 buffer
Anderson LPK (minus the trigger)
Magpul MBUS front and rear sights, FDE
Magpul miad 1.1 grip, FDE
Magpul FDE trigger guard, Magpul reciever plate with loop for single point sling
Magpul mlok AFG, mlok rail covers, ladder rail cover on the top, all in FDE
Lander translucent FDE magazines to match the rest of the build
MidwayUSA bungee single point sling, in FDE

That should about cover it for the build. I kind of wish I would have waited on the trigger since the Larue MBT went on sale for $99 today again, and I did buy a couple of them anyway. The Geisselle is nice, and I got it for a good price.

If you wanna sell one of those Larue TACs, let me know. I already have an MBT on another rifle and don't see myself needing another anytime soon since I have 3 SSA-Es and want to try a drop-in single stage for my next build.

Got my buffer tube kit today (contains buffer, buffer tube, buffer spring, and end plate).
Slightly confused and concerned about the tube and buffer.

The tube has slightly entended area on the threads with a notch. My 5.56 AR tube didn't have this and most I see online don't have it either. This is apparently to retain the buffer retainer better? The buffer is not completely round, it has flat sides on it in 3 areas. So you thread the tube on, get the retainer in the notch, and then to get the buffer in, you turn it so 1 of the flat sides is over top of the retainer and then you have to turn it so the round side is behind the retainer to keep the buffer in place.

This is what I got:
https://www.deltateamtactical.com/P...Duty-W-Ambi-End-Plate-Foam-Cover_p_4135.html#

My concern is that the buffer may turn during firing and 1 of the flat side will slip over the retainer and cause the gun to malfunction. Is this a valid concern or does the buffer not turn at all?

Here's a photo showing what I mean:

Photos of the complete lower:

http://i.imgur.com/ksNgJz7.jpg

I just realized that I may need a different buffer anyway. It says pistol buffer but it doesn't say its for 9mm, so I may not be able to use it. That plus the things above, I may end up returning this and getting something else.

I meant to put up a picture sooner, but just been too busy. Here is a quick snap of the AR10 I put together.

Goes very nicely with the AR15 I had previously put together. Pic of AR15 was posted before, but here it is again.

Here is a post that is not another AR build. Helping out a relative and bought this like new (but without the scope in the pic) ruger number 1B in 300 win mag. This will add to my collection of ruger number 1's, hands down my favorite rifle.

I need to get a scope for it, I am thinking a vortex viper HS 2.5-10x44.

Pics -

$750 doesn't seem too bad considering they can be unobtanium in a caliber you want since they change the offerings every year

Anyone look at the new Beretta APX? I saw it's a striker fire pistol, and it's targeted towards the Glock market. I just wondered how it felt/shot, and if it's worth the price. I have a soft spot in my heart for Beretta. Not sure about this one though..

AK47 for $550 plus free shipping and then FFL fee - http://palmettostatearmory.com/psak-47-gb2-moe-rifle-77929411.html

Not bad.

Do you work for PSA? You seem to post a lot of their stuff to the point where I can't help but wonder if it's advertising...

If you're really looking for a 9mm Carbine then you could go "Hi Point Model 995TS 9mm Carbine with Folding Forward Grip and 2 Magazines" for $240 shipped..

I wish I do get pay from PSA or anyone. Nope, not a penny. I just want to share deals.

Took my Tikka build to 1000 yards this past weekend. Trying to read wind is something I definitely need to improve on but I did get a couple of shots in an 8" circle. So much fun.

Not bad.
I'm super happy with my PSA AR-15. Before I bought my 1911, I shopped PSA, hoping I could score one of theirs, but I guess they were in limited production, so I went with a Rock Island Armory.

I would like an AK eventually. My PSA AR is a "blemished" model, but the tiny little scratch it has is nearly invisible and I simply do not care. It's good to go. I'd happily buy a blemished PSA AK. Not ready for it quite yet, though.

Waiting on the BCG (should be here next week) and then it's all done for now.
Will SBR it eventually, but buying all the parts so soon (plus other bills) depleted my funds for now.

Went with Midwest Industries G3 M-Series One Piece Free Float M-LOK Handguard
BCG is a Mid State Firearms 9mm BCG.
