Pedro Ruiz apparently gave Perez a 50 caliber handgun and instructed her to shoot a round into a book he was holding, thinking it would stop the bullet. The couple had apparently tested the stunt before attempting it on video.

Picked up a CZ-P10 not too long ago as my 1st handgun purchase. Not too concerned about home defense or CC at this point just wanted something fun to shoot at the range. After putting about 800 rounds through i've had 2 misfires.

Offbeat question......as a new shooter, is it unusual for the tip of your trigger finger to go numb after going to the range?

Yes, that is unusual. You're very likely death-gripping and over exerting your finger. Take some time to dry-fire and learn to relax. You're tensing up.

Agreed. I do not support a second thread.

Don't have pics atm, unfortunately, but picked up a new Sig Sauer m400 Enchanced AR-15 recently. Came with Magpul foregrip/buttsock/pistol grip (in FDE) and a mini red dot. I added Magpul flip up front/rear irons (in black) and a Magpul sling. She's purty. Pics to come.

Normally I'm not into ARs that stray too far out there. These two from "Rare Breed Firearms" are making me think of building out one that's as odd as I can get it. I'm not sure when these will be released, but I have to admit, I'm curious if this will cause makers to go even farther out there or pull back to the tried and true.. if nothing else, it's different so the normal "Yawn, another AR" people can't complain as much..

In and of themselves, I think they're fairly neat looking, but assembled I think it looks a little bizarre and reminiscent of gaudy gold plated AKs. Who's to say, though, AR's are basically a lego playset for a lot of men. I have a blue LED case fan, some have a Roman war helmet sculpted lower... shrug. Not my style, but I won't judge (too harshly ).

Did you like it? Pros and cons? Would you buy it again if what you know now?

From several YT videos, I like what I saw so far. The price was not bad. Just do not like the add on extra length because I want a 7" barrel or so.

All I have to compare it to is a basic bird cage type device on a 5.56 AR carbine. I have the slim version. one thing that is a con is that if you also have a slim hand guard and have it recessed into the guard, it can prevent you from using attachments where the device is because there's not enough clearance.
