Yeah it's just 2020. I can understand the owner's frustration though as a lot of the gun community is shall we say a little conspiracy minded and not very quiet about it.
I was surprised to hear him say that he had received many messages indicating that they had stopped production.
Easy to understand how there may be circumstances that could be causing a drop in production, but you have to believe they are chasing the almighty buck and running balls to the wall, at least to the extent possible.
Those who think otherwise have a different view of the way the world works.
I have no doubt they are running their plants as hard as they can. That guy probably just doesn't want lunatics who think he's storing it all in underground caverns mined by mole people or something to drive up prices from showing up at his factories and likely accosting his employees.
I bought 200 rounds of Winchester 9mm for $20 in 2018 from Academy here in Arlington. Just saying.
New (to me) Beretta 85BB has been cleaned and the black plastic grips swapped for factory wood which gives it a bit more character I think.

Well done. How does it shoot?
I love the beretta 85. In fact I bought two custom models and sold the one I didnt like. I kept the slate grey one.
When I find .380 I'll let you know.
Cheaper Than Dirt is still ripping off the consumers? Many people were mad at them when they jacked up the prices so high after Sandy Hook.
Over $1/each for 9 mm full jacket brass? No way. Even more expensive than BassPro $15/50 rds Winchester 124 gr. and same price for Winchester 115 gr. at Academy.
I get the supply vs. demand.
Look at the current price for 9 mm brass full jacket.
BassPro and Academy = $15 for 50 rds box Winchester or about $0.30/round
CTD = $120 for 100 rds box or $60 for 50 rds Winchester or about $1.20/round
4x as expensive for the same brand of bullets with the same/similar grain? Come on now. I don't think so.
CTD is gouging their customers. I won't ever step in their store again. I was traveling all over Texas this past year. I wonder how the supply is in small towns. I should have stopped in one of the stores I saw on my raod trips.

Given the current world situation you will not find cheap or bulk ammo for a while unless you have a source that likes you. When I can find them I will. Guys at shop said that they haven't had much in a while. Nothing coming in the next week.
Santa's bringing a new .22 for family, but the damn elves can't work out the ammo.
