Sorry for being a broken record...but...heavy? Doublestack 9mm? Easily-mastered trigger?
Jericho 941/Baby Eagle. All day. Have you shot any SA recently other than the Sig? The 226 family generally has very nice double action and a smooth single. But I can understand exactly how it might be a little hard to feel out- the it's a low effort pull, but what I notice is that the takeup kind of blends with the break. Lack of sudden changes in required effort = good, but the bang can be a little surprising.
A good CZ-style trigger has some amount of smooth takeup, that is very obviously 'takeup' and not actually pressure from the hammer/sear, followed by a short, crisp break. The CZ-75 design is very much to DA/SA 9mm's what the 1911 is SA .45's. Just a damn good execution, and a great platform for tweaking to your liking.
Also, it's hard to understand exactly how heavy the steel ones generally are until you've handled one. Polymer CZ compact = probably heavier than a G17. Alloy frame = definitely heavier. Steel full-size = holy shit this gun is made from depleted uranium.
Heheh, wouldn't depleted uranium be lead?
